Connecting MetaMask to Binance Smart Chain

Installing and configuring MetaMask
MetaMask can be downloaded in Chrome and Firefox, from your phone in iOS and on Android. For the purposes of this guide, we’ll use the Firefox version, but the instructions will be about the same for each platform.
First, go to the MetaMask download page. Choose the platform you’re using and follow the installation instructions. It’s easy! Then follow the setup instructions in the app. Click “Create a Wallet.” Write down the seed phrase in a safe place (preferably on a device not connected to the Internet). Without this phrase it will be impossible to get the funds back if you damage or lose your device. On the next page, confirm that you wrote down the phrase.
It is ready! Now you can go to the wallet to send and receive funds.

Configuring the wallet
You may notice right away that we are still dealing with a wallet on the Ethereum network. At best, it will not work with decentralized applications (DApps) on Binance Smart Chain. At worst, you can lose funds by sending them to the wrong addresses that you actually use.Let’s fix that. We need to access settings to make the wallet available to nodes in the Binance Smart Chain network.

Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
On the settings page, find the “Networks” item.

The “Networks” menu.Click “Add Network” in the upper right corner to add Binance Smart Chain manually – it is not connected in MetaMask by default. It is important to note that we can use two networks here: the test network or the main network. Below are the parameters that need to be specified for each of them.
Main network (probably the one you want)
